Prop Bets: Masters

There’s nothing more American than betting and the Masters, so why not combine them both. Here’s a list of some prop bets for the week!

Number of balls in hazard for Phil this week: 3 over/under

We all know that Phil is a fan of hitting wayward shots, but with Augusta having few but strategically placed water hazards, we’re giving this better odds than say, at the Players in a month.

Arnie outdrives Gary Player on opening tee shot: 8 to 1

A six year age difference and slightly different physiques give Player the edge.

Number of times CBS mentions that Adam Scott is the only Aussie winner: 4 over/under

This one pretty much depends on whether or not Scott or fellow Aussie Jason Day are in contention. If Day is poised to win, this number can easily jump up to 10. Mentions of Day being the second Aussie to win still count.

Number of awkward pauses in the winner’s interview in the basement of Butler Cabin: 3 over/under

Awkward handshakes count too.

Number of caddies kicked off grounds for wanting to wear crocs: 1.5 over/under

Think anyone other than this guy will make this mistake?

Highest score on hole 12: 6.5 over/under

Over the green, chip into water, 3 putt. Not too hard to imagine.

Ian Poulter Twitter rant: 8 to 1

We all know how much Mr. Poulter likes to express himself on Twitter. And the added pressure of the Masters makes that even more plausible.

Ian Poulter gets his phone taken away on the grounds after tweeting too much: 3 to 1

Tiger watches any bit of live coverage: 1 one 1

On one hand, it’s the Masters, on the other, Tiger probably just wants everyone to lose.
